After I finish a book, I always try to get in touch with the author so I can express my gratitude to them for writing the book. Over the years, I have gotten some very nice emails back from authors who appreciated my questions, comments, and praise on their book. I thought this collection of author letters from some of the most famous writers in the world was very sweet.

Flavorwire: What are the Most Beautiful Movies Ever Made?

I’ve only seen a few of these, but I completely agree that The Fall (which is the trailer above) is one of the most beautiful movies I’ve ever seen. The images, the colors, and the story all make this movie breathtaking. Tarsem Singh is such a great director, and while this is one of my favorites by him, The Cell is another one which should be on this list – though I don’t agree with their choice of Jennifer Lopez!
