One major lesson I learned was, if you’re traveling, to always keep your visa up-to-date.
I learned that the hardest way there is because I was deported from Spain. Now I see it as a very interesting and eye-opening experience, but when it was happening, it was NOT fun at all.
So yes, always keep your visa up-to-date, always know when you’re allowed to go into a country, and always, this one is very important, know what kind of culture and society you will be dealing with before you go there. So, if there are problems, then you will know how to behave, and will be prepared.
What priceless lesson have you learned because of a mistake?
