Link of the Day: Discrimination Against Cats

Cat Color Discrimination

The Huffington Post: Cats Face Discrimination Over Fur Color, New Study Shows

Just like dogs with their breeds, and people with their skin color, cats also face discrimination.  According to the survey done by a student at Berkeley, orange cats are the most popular, while black cats are more likely to be euthanized due to not being adopted.

This is so sad.  I myself have had cats of all different colors, and I believe their personalities are based more on the individual cat than on fur color.

What about you?  Have you ever had an “unpopular” colored cat?  Do you have any personal bias against a certain color of cat?  Let us know in the comment section below!
